    UPSSSC PET Offline Classes | From July

    UPSSSC UP PET (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission), Lucknow has published a notification for UP Preliminary Examination Test (PET) 2021. The candidates who have passed their 10th Standard and have been looking for job opportunities have to mandatorily appear for PET and only qualified candidates can apply for the UPSSSC Mains / Physical/ Skill exam for Group C Posts.

    Note: UPSSSC has decided to conduct the PET Exam for Group C posts in various departments of the state of Uttar Pradesh, twice a year.

      Q. What is PET, organised by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission?

      UP PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) is a qualifying exam conducted by UPSSSC. It is compulsory to qualify PET to appear in all Group- C post-exams conducted by UPSSSC.

      Q. What is the eligibility for UP PET?

      The candidates appearing for this exam must have a high school or equivalent degree to meet the eligibility criteria.

      Q. How many phases/stages are there in UP PET?

      There is only one main exam (MCQ) which is taken in offline mode. There is a negative marking also.

      Q. Can I give UP PET exam in the last year of the qualifying exam?

      No, the candidate should have the minimum qualification prescribed before the last date of application.

      Q. What is the age limit for UP PET exam?

      To be eligible for this exam, the minimum age required is 18 and the maximum age is 40.
